House Electrical Fires

In the UK every year, over 12,500 fires are caused by faulty electrical systems and 2000 electric shock accidents affect householders according to the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).

Our advice would to contact your approved Electrical Contractor should you see signs of the following.

  1. Dimming or Flickering Lights
  2. Fuse board warm to touch
  3. Warm to touch Plugs/Sockets
  4. Circuit Breakers tripping
  5. Smell Burning
  6. Feel a tingle or buzz on your skin when touching an appliance or pipework.
  7. Cable extension with multiple appliances plugged in.
  8. Frayed cables that have tape wrapped round cables

We can carry out a home inspection and issue a certificate of conformity or identify areas of concern that will require immediate attention.

In the event of the unthinkable, this certificate will assist your insurance claim instead of being rejected due to faulty electrical Installation.

Any customers who believe they may fall into this category, don’t delay, fill in your contact details on our quick enquiry page with the WEB site and we will arrange to carry out an inspection of your property.
